Internships & short-term temporary assignments at FES London

Are you a university student in the UK? Is a work placement part of your course? If so, you can apply for an internship at the FES.

We also offer short-term temporary assignments for up to 3 months for seminar assistance work to support our Project Managers and Director during busy periods. Candidates should have at least a BSc degree.

Since the United Kingdom’s departure from the European Union, visa restrictions require organisations recruiting from the EU to obtain a sponsorship licence. Due to the complexity and high costs involved with managing international recruiting, the FES London office is unable to sponsor visa applications for EU passport holders.

We regret that this affects our internship and short-term assignment programmes to such an extent that it is no longer possible for us to offer these to applicants holding EU passports.

Exceptions to this are valid for:

1. Applicants holding British citizenship;

2. Applicants holding Irish citizenship;

3. Applicants with settled or pre-settled status for the duration of the internship and;

4. All applicants studying at an approved higher education institution in the UK with a study visa valid for the duration of the internship and/or short-term assignment and which permits up to 20 hours of work per week.

Please note that due to staffing constraints, FES Dublin is unable to offer internships or short-term assignments.
